Budapest: Day 3

Day 3 in Budapest: LONG day with lots of walking and lots of pictures! Walked across Széchenyi Chain Bridge, took the funicular up to Castle Hill, walked around inside Mátyás-templom, took the Metro… and that was just the morning!

In the afternoon we had a walking tour called “Sleeping Beauty”, where we learned about Budapest’s abandoned buildings, gentrification, and the phenomenon of the “ruinpub”. Then we escaped from not one, but TWO mysterious rooms! (Well, half of our party only escaped from ONE room, but I won’t name names. My team escaped from both. ^_^)
